We all have mental health, just the same as we all have physical health. The mental health continuum shows that we can move between being mentally healthy and unhealthy. The more awareness we have of our own mental health means that we can intervene and make positive changes when we need to. The mental health continuum is a range having mental health and mental illness at the two extreme ends. Depending on the internal and external faculties of a person at any time, he can lie at one point of the continuum and shift position as his situation improves or deteriorates.
